I've lost one of my Marines, and a few others in the unit, to suicide. My closest loss was an amazing Marine and brother, but his demons from what we had to do over there was more than he could bear. He was my brother and I miss him every day. Had there been a program like this available to these men, they may still be here.

When you start talking to these veterans and hear their stories, how much the people and horses have helped them, given them hope... You can’t help but fall in love with the program. It’s become so much more than just a program, it’s a loving and supportive community. I’m so proud to be a member of a team that has helped so many men and women!
