Marybeth Conley featured WarHorses for Heroes on her "Make a Difference Monday" segment on Live@9 on WREG Channel 3. Jeb and Rocky got a bath, a pedicure, a shave and a haircut, and Trey and Billy brought them out to the studio for the interview.  Rocky made lots of friends with the crew and other interviewers, and stole the show during the interview! What a ham! Jeb didn't want to leave the lush grass of the field behind the station, and Rocky said he'd be on TV everyday if the buffet is this good!  We were so proud of Trey and Billy for sounding confident and eloquent for their first TV interview for WarHorses for Heroes. Horse Nation is a national equestrian news site with a readership of over 30,00 people per day! Each Friday, Horse Nation teams up with Ovation Riding to spotlight an individual or organization doing good work in the horse world. On May 13, they recognized Warhorses for Heroes, an equine program for service men and women. They interviewed our very own Sara Beth Raab to find out all about what we do.

We are so excited about our new mounting block!  It still needs to be stained, but it's already helping our veterans mount and dismount more easily and safely. Thank you to Sheila Oles for finding it, to our donor for donating it, and to Doug Enright for his carpentry skills transforming it from stairs to a mounting block!
